Talk2Me

Talk2Me is a Smartphone app that aims to bridge face-to-face communication gap between deaf/hard of hearing and hearing people. Take2Me provides a specific feature—Rotating for Showing Messages—to prompt nonverbal messages such eye contact and facial expressions into communication because nonverbal messages is the most significant part of face-to-face communication and it is the main difference between Computer-mediated Communication (CMC) and face-to-face communication. Take2Me also provides various ways of inputting messages as well as a specific mode for the elderly.

OptumRx Mobile App

The target audience for the OptumRx Mobile Application is over 2 million members of the OptumRx Mail Service Pharmacy. The goal was to create a one-stop shopping experience for managing medications on-the-go. With the application, members can easily renew, refill and transfer prescriptions to home delivery with a few simple taps. We used a User Centered Design approach and conducted three rounds of Usability tests to ensure the application was easy to use for all age demographics. With consumers always on the move, the OptumRx Mobile Application is like having a pharmacy in their pockets.

PushPin

PushPin Tray allows a user to place anything on it, and it will hold it in place. A grid of pins compress down when something is placed on them, then they simply pop right up, once the object is removed. The independent pins allow for any cup, bowl or shape to be held in place. Pushpin is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably on everyone’s lap. It’s modern design with concealed handles has elevated the dinning experience closer to the user, so they may enjoy a more sensory meal in any room in the house. A carefree tray, fit for all users; kids, adults, elderly and the disabled.
